Virginia C. Mars Foundation
Supports curriculum development, teacher training, capital building and
computer acquisition for elementary and secondary schools. There are two
deadlines - May 1 and November 1. Grants will range up to $10,000 and can
be awarded to K-12 schools or school districts.

Dorr Foundation
Supports curriculum design and enhancement for science programs
in grades 6-12. Grants range from $5,000 to $30,000 and are given to schools
and schools
systems. The foundation suggests that projects should be models for replication
so that schools nationwide can benefit. There is no deadline for this grant.

National Garden Association Grants ProgramING Unsung Heroes
The ING Unsung Heroes awards program recognizes those classroom heroes who
take teaching to new heights and make learning fun. Each year, ING presents
a total of $240,000 in awards to 100 deserving K-12 educators nationwide to
help further their projects within their school or school system.
